Kuwait busts Czech vice den

Kuwaiti police arrested several Czech men and women accused of practising vice by luring customers online to hotels in the conservative oil-rich Gulf country.

Police sent an undercover to the hotel after contacting one girl on social networks and managed to arrest one Czech girl offering herself for money.

The Arabic language daily Alanba said the girl led police to other members of the “vice den”, adding that they all had come to Kuwait on visit visa.

“Police found large sums of money with them and receipts showing they have remitted large funds to their home country,” it said.
